I am a psychodynamic counsellor offering counselling sessions to adults with wide range of mental health issues.
Psychodynamic counselling is using the principles of Psychotherapy.
For me the meaning of successful counselling is not measured by a specific achievement. It is a slow, evolving progress around how we think and feel about ourselves and others.
I already helped many clients by discovering the invisible links between the different parts (past and present) of their lives.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in the pharmaceutical research for many years as a Doctor of Pharmacy. Understanding how drugs work, helped me to find the balance between modern, scientific advances and deeper, emotional wellbeing provided by counselling.
I’m particularly interested in supporting clients on their medicated or non-medicated weight loss journey by understanding their individual, disturbing food noises.
I am a Registered Member of the BACP(British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I work within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. This includes the requirement that I attend regular supervision and that I undertake ongoing professional development.
